The push cap is attached directly to the PVC pipe that is ready to be installed after all of the Bullet Mole shafts are removed. The push point is connected to the front or leading end of the pipe and the push cap is inserted into the bell housing on the opposite end of the same pipe, or If there is no bell housing then a coupling must be glued onto the pipe and the part inserted into the coupling. Once in place, the push cap may be struck with a hammer to drive the pipe past the obstruction and on to the other side.

NOTE: This part is rarely used but in the case of loose gravel or roots pushing back into the hole, it can be difficult to slide the pipe in with just the push point. In which case the "Equalizer" here will do the job every time.
